STEELHEAD:

Ten year old Aiden Hulings of Kane, PA brought in an 11 pound 6 ounce Steelhead for Angler Award. It was 29 ¾ inches long and had a girth of 17 inches. He caught it at the mouth of Crooked Creek using a single egg.

Philip Diehl of Hollidaysburg PA brought in an 11 pound 1 ½ ounce female Steelhead. It was 29 ¾ inches long and had a girth of 17 ¼ inches. He caught her in between the Stop Sign hole and Manchester Hole on Walnut Creek. He was using a “Stimulator” fly. Colors were Gray/Yellow/Orange.

Not much happening right now. We had about 15 minutes of snow but no accumulation. This weekend is supposed to be very windy with gusts of 30 knots. Waves on the lake are to be 5-7 ft up till Sunday night.

There are a few fish in the Manchester and Stop Sign holes and even in between (see above). There's water in the creek and the color is good.
