WALLEYE:

Doug Rumball of Erie brought in a 10 pound ½ ounce Walleye for Angler Award. It was 31 ½ inches long and had a girth of 18 inches. He caught it straight out of Trout Run in 75 ft of water on a Renowsky. The color was Green/Black.

PERCH:

Carol Riblett of Erie, PA brought in this nice sized Perch for Angler Award. It weighed 1 pound 7 ounces, was 14 inches long and had a girth of 10 ¾ inches. She caught it in 58 ft of water off the GE stack on the East side. She was using minnows.

STEELHEAD:

Fourteen year old Cody Weimer of Irwin, Pa brought in this pretty Steelhead. It was 8 pounds 3 ounces and was 28 inches long with a girth of 16 inches. He caught it off the North wall at Walnut Creek on Orange power bait.

Here’s Cody Weimer again with his second catch. It was a female that weighed 8 pounds 12 ¾ ounces. She was 28 inches long and had a girth of 16 ½ inches. Cody caught her on a “Little Cleo”.

Fourteen year old Alex Albright of Landisburg, PA came in with a very pretty Steel head. He was 13 pounds 9 ½ ounces, was 30 ½ inches long and had a girth of 20 ¼ inches. She caught him on the South side of the marina entrance by the little (old) launch ramp in Walnut Creek on Chartreuse power bait.

The Steelhead evidently are starting to stage in front of the creeks. I have had a couple boaters trolling out front say they see some of the fish. The water is very clear and there is no water or little water in the creeks so we still need some rain to bring them in. We are supposed to get a slight chance of showers on Saturday this week but only a 40% chance.
