WALLEYE:

Ron Larch of Indiana PA brought in a 10 pound 10 ounce Walleye for Angler Award. He caught it in 62 ft of water West of Walnut Creek on a Black/Silver Renowski.

Thirteen year old Levi Garrett of Claysville, PA got an Angler Award for his Walleye. It was 7 pounds 15 ounces, 29 ½ inches long and had a girth of 15 ¾ inches. He caught it in 60 ft of water East of Walnut out from the Condo’s. He used a spinner and the color was Black/Purple.

Fifteen year old Michael Farrell of Burgettstown, PA brought in a 6 pound 7 ounce Walleye for Junior Award. It was 27 inches long and had a 15 inch girth. He caught it in 60 ft of water West of Walnut Creek on a Big Dipsy using a spoon. His color was watermelon

Six year old Tyler Green of New Castle, PA brought in this 8 pound 6 ounce Walleye. It was 28 ¼ inches long and had a girth of 17 inches. He caught it in 65 ft of water 6 ½ miles Northwest of Walnut on a green spoon.

Nine year old Austin Green caught his in the same place as his brother. His just made Junior Angler with 6 pounds and it was 27 inches long with a 14 ½ inch girth. He caught his on a silver spoon.

Eleven year old Hunter DeLoe of Oil City came in with an 8 pound 12 ounce Walleye. It was 29 inches long and had a girth of 17 ¼ inches. He caught it in 77 ft of water West of Walnut Creek on a worm harness. His color was watermelon.

The Walleye seem to be hitting pretty good. Mostly out in the First Trench. Anywhere from 55 - 75 ft of water. You might want to try on the North side of the Perch pack. I haven’t heard of anyone try in close lately.

Perch are still out in 50 - 55 ft of water straight out of Walnut and also in 35-40 ft of water out of Trout Run.
