WALLEYE:

Andy Roseberry of Erie came in with his 9 lb 9 12/ oz. Walleye. It was 30 inches long and had a girth of 17 1/2 inches. He caught it out in 18 ft of water west of Elk Creek on a Bango lure.

Eleven year old Lucus Bailey from Millcreek brought in his Walleye for Angler Award. It was 8 lb. 4 oz., and was 28 1/2 inches long with a girth of 16 3/4 inches. He caught it in 35 ft of water west by Elk Creek on a Bango lure.

Fifteen year old John Stiglitz came in with a nice 9 lb. ½ oz. Walleye who was 30 ¾ inches long and had a girth of 16 ¾ inches. He caught it out in 56 ft of water straight out of Walnut Creek on a worm harness. Chartreuse was the color for him.

Ten year old Zach Stiglitz brought in his 7 lb. 9 ½ oz. Walleye for Angler Award too. It was 28 ½ inches long and had a girth of 17 inches. He caught it the same place as his brother (above) except his was caught on the color watermelon.

Kenny Heeter Jr. came in with a nice 9 pound 8 ounce Walleye. It was 30 ¾ inches long. He caught it out in the first trench straight out of Walnut in 72 ft of water on a rainbow Plug.

Erich Semelka came in with his 7 pound 12 ounce Walleye. It was 29 ¼ inches long. He caught his the same place as Kenny Heeter Jr. did but his was caught on a spoon. The color was pink/purple.

The Walleye seem to be starting back again. It seems that everytime we have a cold front come through they stop biting for a couple days. The weather has been nice for a while now and they started biting. The boaters seem to be going both shallow and deep and finding them so there is no special place to find them. I found that Chartreuse and watermelon are some of the favorite colors for catching them though.

PERCH:

The perch fishing has not been very good. I have had quite a few people go out looking for them but I haven't heard of too many people limiting. Most people I have talked to have only caught half a limit if that.
