Well, this week we got a picture of all the popular fish up here.

PERCH:
Fourteen year old Brittiny Rafferty-Brown, of Erie came in with a citation sized Perch. It weighted in at 14 ½ ounces and was 12 ¾ inches long. It was caught in 60 ft of water straight out of Walnut.

WALLEYE:
Sixteen year old Pete Merranko of Acme, PA came in with a nice 9 lb 10 ounce Walleye. It was 29 ¾ inches long and had a girth of 17 ¼ inches. He caught it in 75 ft of water northeast of Walnut Creek. He caught in on a spoon, color was Chartreuse.

STEELHEAD:

Michael Gashgarian of Fairview came in with this nice Steelhead. It weighed 13 lb, 12 ounces, was 30 ½ inches long and had a girth of 20 inches. He caught it in Elk Creek on a fly rod with a white wooly bugger.

There are a lot of people fishing on the wall here at Walnut Creek. Here is Franklyn Agee from Williamsburg, PA with his catch off the wall. It was a female and weighed 7 pounds and was 26 ½ inches long. He caught in on green power bait.

There are a few fish in the creek but not too many. This weekend we are to get some rain so it should bring some more in. It is just a little early yet but with the cold weather we are having and the rain, it won't take long now before the run comes in.
