STEELHEAD:

Six year old Jaren Moore of Altoona PA caught his first fish on last Saturday. He caught it in Walnut
Creek on skein.

Paul J. Stewart of Butler PA brought this 14 pound 13 ½ ounce steel head in for citation. It was 33 ¼ inches long and had a girth of 19 ½ inches. He caught it in Walnut Creek on a Wooly Bugger.

The creek right now is just the right color for some good fishing. I had quite a few people catch fish yesterday. We were supposed to get some more rain yesterday but it never happened. We are to get some today so we will see.

MARINA OPENING
The Marina will be open for fishing on Wednesday, November 2, at 4 PM exactly. I will blow a whistle and time and take a picture of the first fish that is caught, if that person wants. There is NO fishing until 4 PM.

Boaters can still launch their boats without the docks in. You just have to use the piers.

There is no fishing from a boat in the marina or channel, and also, Please boaters do not anchor at the mouth of the channel because that is impeding the boat traffic.
