PERCH: are out in 61' to 68' ft of water. Boaters are picking them up straight out of Walnut and also west of Trout Run.

Jack Ley of Sewickley came in with his limit of Perch. He caught them out in 57 ft of water off the first trench.

WALLEYE: are in 68'-73' of water. Caught trolling with worm harnesses from Elk Creek east to Trout Run. They seemed to have moved out into the trenches. They have been tougher to catch lately too.

Josh Powell of Slippery Rock went out with his dad (Red Beard) Jim Powell and came back in with 7 walleye. His dad said they were all nice. He got them out in the first trench.

STEELHEAD: are out in the first trench. A few stragglers have been caught in the creek but there are only a couple in there. The main run doesn't start till late September to middle of October. Water temperature has to be around 64. As of this writing on Friday the 17th it is 69 degrees.

Marc Knapp age 13 from Lake City came in with this 11 pound 10 ounce Steel head. He caught it out in the deep water fishing while fishing for Walleye. Again he was on Barry Kovatch's boat "Kojak".

LAW ENFORCEMENT: I was told by Law Enforcement that shore fishing persons not pulling their lines ALL THE WAY OUT of the water for boaters will be fined. Boaters are to either call the Office or Law Enforcement if shore fishing person doesn't pull their line all the way out.
