WARNING: I have had a few people tell me they are hitting something in the center of the channel. Be careful and stay away from the center as you go out until something can be done about it.

PERCH: are out in 50 to 60 ft of water. Boaters are picking them up out from Trout Run in 60 ft all the way to Elk Creek in 50 ft of water.

John Amon Jr., John Amon Sr., Richard Amon, and Jeff Amon made a family day of it going out on Fish Connections Charters (Don Clayton). They limited on Perch.

WALLEYE: are in 60-65' of water. Caught trolling with worm harnesses straight out from Walnut Creek trolling west to the line. They seemed to have moved out into the trenches. The ones that were being caught near shore don't seem to be there any longer. They have been tougher to catch lately too.

Here is Michael Michalko, age 9 from Aliquippa. He brought this 8 pound walleye in for a angler award. His dad was very proud of him.

STEELHEAD: are out in between the first and second trench. A few stragglers have been caught in the creek but there are only a couple in there. The main run doesn't start till late September to middle October. Watch for the water temperature to be around 64.

Ross Magill and his son went out east and caught this 16 pound, 33 inch, steel head. He was on a Charter so he wasn't too sure but he thinks they were at the mountain. They launched from Lampe Marina. This fish had a 23 inch girth on it too.

FISH FRY: Sunday, September 5, 2004 - 2:00 PM. Must bring fresh fish (less than 6 months old) and a dish (salad, dessert, pasta, breads, etc...). We also need oil so if you can bring some let me know so I can mark it off and I won't have to get it. Don't forget to have your fish in on Friday, September 3 by 4:00 for the fish fry. I am going to take it home to thaw and check it over before bringing it in on Sunday for the Fish Fry.

Law Enforcement is donating 4 tables and 2 fryers for the day.
B.A.C. is donating the pop.
Home City Ice is donating the ice.
Joe Henson is donating the Sure Lunch for battering the fish.
Poor Richards is donating some smoked fish.

I want to Thank everyone for helping out with donations. It is very much appreciated.
