Friday the 16th fines few anglers at Walnut Creek this day. Dave had caught a nice steelhead thru the ice. The weather has been cold, ice continues to build. Few fish were caught this day. Yesterday was much better for catching steelies. The lake has ice for a mile or so but is very thin and is mostly made up of frozen pieces. A person was reported to fall through yesterday near shore in shallow water.
 Trout Run area ice is still thin, no anglers yet on the ice Friday at noon. |
