The weekend of 4 May found good bass fishing and good weather for the second Saturday.
 Fished Shades Beach all day Saturday. Many doubles with the fish found 22 to 35 feet. Jigging minnows worked well as usual.
 11:30 to 1:00 the fishing slowed, but after that the wind picked up and there were still big ones to cast and jig for. Sunday morning found many small perch north of the red can off Dobins Landing in the bay, not too many keepers, depth 5 feet.
 Worked the Shorewood area for smallies. The morning was good both sides of the WWWs. Many doubles and the biggest fish Sunday but fishing was better Saturday. The light wind brings out the gobie bite. Many were found here at Shorewood. |
